The Cooperator
The Co-op & Condo Monthly

September, 2004

On October 20th, October 27th, and November 3rd, The Real Estate Academy will offer the latest series of “News, Views & Current Trends,”
at The Penthouse at Shelly’s New York, located at 104 West 57th Street in Manhattan. The continuing education classes for real estate professionals will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and fulfill the State of New York’s requirement for relicensure by providing 22.5 hours of CE credits to qualified real estate brokers and sales persons. At a session in June, Marcia Kaufman, the chief operating offer of Preferred Empire Mortgage, spoke about the value of relationships as facilitating successful careers in the real estate industry.

Kaufman emphasized building and maintaining professional relationships reaching beyond mortgage brokering colleagues and to co-op and condo real estate sales brokers and managers. Kaufman cited the educational value of networking with professionals so that each mortgage broker is better prepared to keep their clients well-informed.
