The Real Estate Academy will offer broker and salesperson’s licensing courses during its fall 2003 session. The classes will take place throughout Manhattan and are offered during the week and weekend during daytime and evening hours throughout November and December.

Tuition for the 45-hour salesperson’s licensing course is $195; the textbook costs $35. Tuition for the 45-hour broker’s licensing course is $250; the textbook costs $35. The Real Estate Academy also offers online classes that allow industry professionals to take and complete 22.5 hours of continuing education requirements. Tuition for the Academy’s online classes is $135.

Esther Muller, master teacher and president, says, “We try to provide as many options as possible to make the learning process as accessible and as convenient as possible.

In other Real Estate Academy news, guest lecturers for its upcoming three-day seminar, “Renting, Buying and Selling Co-ops and Condos in 2003,” have been announced.

The classes fulfill the state of New York’s continuing education requirement for relicensure by providing 22.5 hours of credit to those who take all three sessions. The third session will take place Wednesday, November 12th at The Penthouse at Shelly’s New York, located at 104 West 57th Street.

Guest lecturers at this session will be Barbara Corcoran, chairman of the Corcoran Group, who will speak at 9:15 a.m.; Andrew Heiberger, president of CitiHabitats, who will speak at 10:30 a.m.; Faith Hope Consolo, vice chairman of Garrick Aug Worldwide, who will speak at 11:30 a.m.; and David Michonski, chairman and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy; who is scheduled for 1 p.m.
