The Real Estate Academy is offering a full roster of broker and salesperson’s licensing courses. “Interest in real estate as a career continues to grow, especially since so many businesses are either not hiring or are downsizing,” notes Esther Muller, master teacher/president, The Real Estate Academy. “These classes provide the tools necessary for students to enter the field as well-trained and as well-equipped as possible.” The classes will take place throughout Manhattan and are offered during the week and the weekend during daytime and evening hours.

Tuition for the 45-hour salesperson’s licensing course is $195; the textbook costs $35. Tuition for the 45-hour broker’s licensing course is $250; the textbook costs $35.

The Real Estate Academy also offers online classes that allow industry professionals to take and complete their 22.5 hours of continuing education requirements at their own pace. “Real estate brokers and salespersons are unbelievably busy,” says Muller. “Distance learning allows them to fit their required training into their schedules.” The courses are offered on CD-ROMs and come with step-by-step directions. Students must complete course work within six months of receipt. A certificate of completion from the Real Estate Academy is mailed once the student has finished, returned and passed each course. Tuition for the Academy’s online classes is $135.
