Fillmore Real Estate, New York City’s largest privately owned and operated residential and commercial real estate company, recently hosted Brooklyn’s largest series of Open Houses. The event featured over 200 properties throughout the entire borough and attracted more than 7,500 potential homeowners during a single May weekend. 65 viable offers were immediately made. More than 200 Fillmore agents participated.
“This is historic for Brooklyn,” says John Reinhardt, president and chief executive officer, Fillmore Real Estate. “Never before has any Brooklyn-based real estate company held so many Open Houses in such a limited timeframe. This was a massive undertaking and underscores our leadership standing in the boro. We are extremely pleased with the results.”
Fillmore created the event to allow buyers to view properties as conveniently as possible, to get a good sense of what is currently available, and to identify the types of homes offered within their price range. The company assisted in the process by sponsoring a home buying seminar a week before the event to help consumers in their purchasing decisions.
For those ready to make an offer, Fillmore Financial, the company’s in-house mortgage bank, was on-site to provide on-the-spot mortgage pre-approvals. The bank offers a wide range of products and services at industry-competitive rates that allows borrowers to select the package that best meets their financial needs. “From our team of experienced brokers to our vast listings to Fillmore Financial, the event vividly showed how Fillmore Real Estate is the one-stop real estate company for those interested in buying and investing in Brooklyn,” says Reinhardt.
The next series of Open Houses is scheduled for the summer. The exact date will be announced shortly.
Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Sheepshead Bay, Fillmore Real Estate covers all of Brooklyn. It is one of the borough’s oldest and most established and respected companies specializing in real estate. It has 21 offices and more than 500 agents totally dedicated to serving Brooklyn.
